Terms and conditions

These terms cover this website and anything you buy from WiseApps Group. A product can add its own terms, and you see them before you use it or pay.

Who we are

WiseApps Group is a company registered in Singapore. We design, build and run web apps, mobile apps and websites. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean WiseApps Group, and "you" means the person or business using our website or buying from us.

You can reach us at hello@wiseapps-group.com.

Our products and their own terms

Each product can have its own terms, and they apply alongside these. Where the two differ, the product's own terms decide for that product.

  • SiteSurvey: its Terms appear in the app, and every user accepts them before first use.
  • Plate-wise: its terms are on plate-wise.com. Apple's terms cover anything you buy in the iPhone app.
  • DC WebApps: you receive its terms before you start a plan.
  • Our other apps: these terms apply, plus anything the app shows you before you use it.

Prices and paying

You see the price on the order, plan screen or invoice before you pay. Prices are shown before VAT, and we add VAT where it applies.

Stripe takes our online payments by card, bank transfer, Pay by Bank or Direct Debit. We never see or store your card number. You receive an invoice or receipt for every payment.

Subscriptions and setup fees

You pay a business subscription yearly in advance. It covers the period shown on your invoice.

A subscription does not renew by itself. We remind you before it ends, and you choose whether to pay for another year. If you do not renew, the service stops after the end date, and the product's own terms say how long you can still download your data.

A setup fee is a one-off charge for setting up your company's account. You see it on your order or invoice before you pay.

Usage you buy in advance, such as a pack of surveys, stays valid while your subscription is active.

Building apps for your business

When we build a web app, mobile app or website for your business, we first send you a written quote. It sets out what we will build, the price, when each payment is due and when we deliver.

The work starts when you accept the quote in writing. We invoice you at the stages the quote sets out, and you pay online through Stripe.

If you ask for work the quote does not cover, we agree the extra price with you in writing before we start it.

If the project stops before it is finished, the quote says what you pay for the work done so far. Where the quote and these terms differ, the quote decides for that project.

Refunds

  • If we charge you by mistake, or charge you twice, we refund the extra in full.
  • If we fail to provide something you paid for and cannot put it right, we refund the part you did not receive.
  • We do not refund a yearly subscription for the rest of the year once it has started.
  • We do not refund a setup fee once we have started setting up your account.
  • We do not refund usage you bought in advance and did not use.
  • Apple's refund rules cover payments you make through Apple.
  • For an app or website we build for your business, your quote says what we refund if the project stops before it is finished.

To ask for a refund, email hello@wiseapps-group.com with your invoice number.

Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you.

Cancelling

You can stop using a product at any time. Subscriptions do not renew by themselves, so we do not charge you again unless you choose to renew. To close your account, email hello@wiseapps-group.com.

We may suspend or close an account that is not paid, or that breaks these terms or a product's own terms. We tell you first, unless the law or a security risk stops us.

Using this website

You may read this website, share links to it and print pages for your own use.

The words, logo, pictures and design belong to WiseApps Group. Ask us in writing before you copy them for another website or product.

Links to other websites lead to pages we do not run, and their own terms apply there.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, we update the date at the top. We tell paying customers before a change to paid plans takes effect, and it applies from their next payment.
